Saturday, May 3rd - Mike Lowe Music Presents: Fat City Reprise & Burndown Allstars with Soraia, Stillicide, 28 North, and Adam Monaco

LOCAL SHOWCASE OF PHILLY'S FINEST!

FAT CITY REPRISE

One of the bands playing the local music extravaganza on Saturday, May 3rd is Fat City Reprise from South Philly. They describe their music as "rock music you can dance to." "At a live show, these guys are energized and don't take breathers. Their music speaks for itself, and because of that, they don't take their sweet time tuning or talking to the audience. They do what they went there for-to get down! Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, Welcome to One of the Greatest Shows on Earth! " - Heather Sconza, Traxx.com

BURNDOWN ALL-STARS

An underground movement in the making Burndown Allstars are a fusion of hip hop, rock, and blues. In 2006, they were named the best independent band in the Northeast at the Independent Music World Series. Philly representatives that have had the opportunity to share the stage with Steel Pulse, Common, and The Roots-who just happen to be their major influence. According to band leader, Dave Quicks their live shows feel like Dave Chappelle's 'Block Party' movie. "We've got drums, bass, two guitars, a DJ and four to eight MCs, so we keep it flowing with that review feel. We might switch up MCs for each song and we keep metamorphosing and introducing new things to keep it fresh in front of you."
