Cute Is What We Aim For is a three-piece power pop band, formed in 2005 in Buffalo, New York. They released their Billboard 200-charting debut album The Same Old Blood Rush With a New Touch in 2006. This summer they'll be out on the road in support of Rotation set to drop on June 24th. Cute Is What We Aim For is driven by the four members’ desire to cast their own upbeat spin onto modern pop. “We just wanted to do something that was fun and refreshing,” Shaant says. “Something different, with catchy melodies and a lyrical twist. Our mantra, our mission statement, was let’s be ourselves – let’s be fun, but let’s be deep and intelligent at the same time.”

Alkaline Trio is a band from Chicago consisting of Matt Skiba on guitar/vocals, Dan Andriano on bass/vocals, and Derek Grant on drums/back-up vocals. Their music is characterized by dark lyrics, catchy choruses, fast tempos and recurring subjects of love, alcoholism, depression, fire, drugs, blasphemy, and death. On April 22nd, the boys of Alkaline Trio released their Agony and Irony EP with three songs which will also be featured on their new album entitled Agony and Irony, set to hit the streets July 1st.
